The rebrand is reflective of the company's evolution as well as its plans for continued growth and development across the globe. The company polled more than 400 mid-tail influencers (defined as having 75,000 to 500,000 followers) to gain insight into their needs and perspective on the influencer marketing industry. Key findings include: 

  • 78 percent of respondents are self-managed and do not have third-party representation
  • 88 percent of respondents reported Instagram as their most active platform
  • 40 percent of respondents saidbudget is the biggest challenge when working with brands, followed by creative requirements at 23 percent and advertiser communication at 21 percent
  • 48 percent of respondents reported an even split between getting work through agencies and working directly with brands
