National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence Selects Rivetz to Collaborate on Multifactor Authentication for E-Commerce Project

RICHMOND, Mass. and WASHINGTON, Aug. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Rivetz (https://rivetz.com) today announced it has been selected by the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE), part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), to collaborate on its Multifactor Authentication for e-Commerce project. Rivetz will participate in a consortium to contribute expertise to create an example implementation guide that online retailers can implement to reduce fraudulent online purchases. Rivetz's participation in the Retail Sector Use Case Consortium will help to develop practical, interoperable cybersecurity approaches that address the real-world needs of complex Information Technology (IT) systems. By accelerating dissemination and use of these integrated tools and technologies for protecting IT assets, the NCCoE will enhance trust in U.S. IT communications, data, and storage systems; reduce risk for companies and individuals using IT systems; and encourage development of innovative, job-creating cybersecurity products and services.
